Paul S. Groschadl is a partner in the firm and Chair of the Secured Lending & Financial Recovery Department where he concentrates in commercial litigation, banking, and creditors’ rights in bankruptcy.
Representative Matters:

Represented secured and unsecured creditors, including banks, institutional investors, landlords and bond holders in health care, trucking, automotive, airline, retail, manufacturing and service industry Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases throughout the United States.

Represented banks and other institutional clients in lending transactions, intercreditor relationships, workouts, collateral foreclosure and fraud litigation.
Community Involvement:

Member of the Board of Directors of Credit Abuse Resistance Education, Inc. (“CARE”), a charitable organization that operates throughout the United States to educate high school seniors and college students on financial literacy and credit card abuse. CARE benefits from the active support of many volunteers, including Bankruptcy Judges, the United States Department of Justice, and private attorneys.

Mr. Groschadl is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in federal courts in the northeast United States.
Professional Affiliations:
Mr. Groschadl is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations. He is active in the New York Bar Association (Banking Law Section Executive Committee and Bankruptcy Committee), American Bankruptcy Institute, and is Former Chair of the Bankruptcy Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association.
Other:
Mr. Groschadl has for many years held the highest rating from Martindale Hubbell Lawyers Directory, and is listed in the current edition of the "Best Lawyers in America" for his bankruptcy and creditors’ rights work. Mr. Groschadl has authored articles for the American Bankruptcy Law Journal, a leading treatise on New York real estate law and other professional and business publications. He is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and commercial law topics for bar associations, colleges and universities, and other professional and trade organizations.
