At a Glance:

Chris Rodi is a Partner in the Business & Finance Department.  He specializes in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, securities law and corporate law & governance. 

 

Chris represents companies in all stages of growth, including formation, early and late stage private financings including both venture capital and private equity transactions, franchise offerings, public offerings and public company reporting, and merger and acquisition transactions.  He also represents these companies in negotiating commercial agreements, including their distribution, supply, licensing and other transactions.  

 

Although the majority of Chris’ clients are mid-sized privately-held and publicly-traded companies, Chris also advises numerous start-ups and small companies with respect to their capital raising efforts and other corporate and commercial matters.

 

Prior to joining Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, Chris was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC in Palo Alto, CA, where he specialized in merger and acquisition transactions and venture capital investments.

 

Community Involvement:

Mr. Rodi is the Vice Chair of the Pittsford Community Collaborative Task Force, a joint task force of the Town of Pittsford, Village of Pittsford and Pittsford School District. He is also a Member of the St. Bonaventure University Rochester Gaudete Awards Committee.
