Summer Reading Contest Wrap-up

Congratulations to all of the winners in the 2006 Take Me Out to the Ballgame Summer Reading Contest!

29 Monroe County Libraries participated from June 21st to July 31st, and over 7,200 contest entries were received.

On August 22nd, all of the winners were invited to the Red Wings game for a special ceremony, and the first prize winners got the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
