Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP is pleased to announce that Mark H. Tiernan, Esq. has joined the firm. Mr. Tiernan is of counsel in the firm's Family Wealth & Estate Planning Department. He has been a general practice lawyer since 1973 with an emphasis on estate planning, estate administration and residential real estate. From 1973 through 1979 Mr. Tiernan practiced at the firm of Frank, Garrity & Tiernan: from 1979 through 1986 as of counsel to Friedman & Michael, and from 1986 to 12/31/11 at Duffy & Tiernan, with Michael J. Duffy, Esq. He received his JD from SUNY at Buffalo Law School and his BA from St. Bonaventure University.
