The Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce has awarded the law firm of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP with the 2002 Chairman's Award. The award is presented to employers or individuals that invest and contribute to the economic health of Greater Rochester.
In addition to Woods Oviatt Gilman, the 2002 Chairman's Award was presented to Xerox, Eastman Kodak Co. and Corning, Inc. for their work on the Infotonics Center of Excellence. Approximately $130 million has been committed to the new center which is expected to provide more than 5,000 jobs.
