Commercial and Asset Based Lending

Commercial and asset-based lending representation requires a broad base of legal knowledge. In addition to addressing the unique legal issues within each transaction, it is often necessary to create, perfect, and enforce security interests in real and personal property and address related bankruptcy, tax and environmental law issues. All of this knowledge must be applied to the transactions in a way that appropriately addresses both legal and practical business concerns.

With a vast amount of experience in all aspects of secured lending, our attorneys assist asset-based lending clients in documenting transactions with broad and challenging collateral categories. Our attorneys are knowledgeable of the complexities of revised Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and can guide clients through its many issues and procedures.
