6-5-19 As seen in Buffalo Business First: William F. Savino, Esq. has been named the recipient of the Ken Joyce Excellence in Teaching Award by the University at Buffalo School of Law.

William F. Savino, Esq. of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP has been named the recipient of the Ken Joyce Excellence in Teaching Award by the University at Buffalo School of Law. This award is given to a member of the adjunct faculty for excellent teaching and longstanding service to the School of Law. Mr. Savino has been teaching business law to the seniors in the management school at University of Buffalo since 1979, and he has been teaching commercial litigation at its law school since 2001. He developed this course to provide upper class members with a real world litigation experience. Mr. Savino is a Partner in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on matters involving business litigation (including construction, corporate and partnership dissolution, accounting malpractice, and Uniform Commercial Code matters) and insolvency (both debtor and creditor) with an emphasis on reorganizations. Mr. Savino also mediates corporate and commercial disputes.
