David Groesbeck is Of Counsel with the Intellectual Property Department. His practice focuses on counseling the Firm’s clients in patent and trademark protection, IP litigation, IP licensing, and negotiating and drafting related business agreements. David’s experience and focus is in the mechanical, electrical, and software arts. David has particular experience with medical devices and technology in addition to the energy sector. Notably, prior to joining the Firm, David worked as in-house patent counsel to Schlumberger in Houston, a leading high-tech company in the clean energy sector where he honed his patent attorney skills in identifying and strategically protecting the company’s valuable innovations. David is a talented communicator, critical thinker, and cooperative team member.
