Chris Rodi is a Partner in the Business & Finance Department. He focuses his practice in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, public company representation and general corporate law & governance. Chris also serves as Chair of the firm's Cross Border Transactions practice group. He is also a member of the firm's Management Committee which is responsible for general oversight and management of the firm.

Chris represents companies in all stages of growth, including formation, early and late stage venture capital and private equity transactions, franchise offerings, public offerings and public company reporting, and merger and acquisition transactions. He also represents these companies in negotiating commercial agreements, including their distribution, supply and licensing agreements and other commercial arrangements.

Although the majority of Chris' clients are mid-sized privately-held and publicly-traded companies, he also advises numerous start-ups and small companies with respect to their capital raising efforts and other corporate and commercial matters. Chris also practices in sports related law, representing several professional sports franchises and teams.

Prior to joining Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, Chris was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC in Palo Alto, CA.where he specialized in merger and acquisition transactions and venture capital investments.
