At a Glance
Bill provides counsel to public and private sector employers on day-to-day employment matters, including but not limited to, employee performance/discipline/termination matters, conducting internal investigations, reasonable accommodations, compliance with protected leave obligations, wage and hour issues, reductions in force, policies and procedures, restrictive covenants, and contract interpretation matters. Bill also regularly represents employers before various governmental agencies, including the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and federal and state Departments of Labor. In addition, Bill also counsels employers in labor relations matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, advising on labor relations and grievance matters, representation in arbitrations and matters before the National Labor Relations Board and New York Public Employment Relations Board.
Bill also represents companies on general corporate matters including providing counsel on issues regarding formation and operations, negotiating and drafting transaction documents, including stock and asset purchase agreements and various commercial contracts, including services agreements, software licensing agreements, and confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements.
