A significant portion of employee benefit and executive compensation practice involves planning, drafting and updating qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, as well as assisting clients with on-going compliance matters, and working with the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor on various closing agreements, audits and investigations.

- equity and non-equity-based plans; and
- incentive compensation programs and “top-hat" plans for executives.
We also advise employers whose qualified plans have either document or operational failures. We represent employers with respect to self-correction or submission of a proposed correction to the Internal Revenue Service or Department of Labor under their correction programs.
Our firm regularly advises individuals who are acquiring businesses participating in employee benefit plans that are jointly sponsored by both labor and management, pursuant to one or more collective bargaining agreements on bonding and withdrawal liability.
